Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly ChatGPT, has opened new opportunities in the field of language education, including English language learning. This study aims to analyze the content and features of ChatGPT as a medium for English language learning and to examine its relevance from an Islamic education perspective. The method employed is a content analysis of scientific literature and recent sources on the use of ChatGPT in language learning contexts. The findings indicate that ChatGPT holds significant potential as an interactive learning medium capable of supporting the development of writing, reading, and speaking skills in English. However, its use needs to be integrated with Islamic educational values, such as academic integrity, responsibility, and the moral development of students. The implications of this research are expected to serve as a reference for educators in integrating AI technology wisely and with Islamic character in the English language learning process.
